you should check out this site which is offered from Wheaton College. It is the Center for Applied Christian Ethics which posts all their lectures and discussion panels in mp3 format. Tons of stuff regardless of what you’re into from bioethics to just war. Imagine how much the students had to pay for this!

The Curious Case of a Stair

Like the title?  I thought that one up all by myself…  Anywho, I stumbled across this interesting story, and had to share it with you.  The gist of it is, over a year ago, a single stair step from the 5th Avenue Apple Store in New York broke, requiring repair.  Mark Burstiner requested the step from Apple, and received it from the repair crew.  Flash forward to today, upon placing the broken step on eBay, Mark has received multiple threats of legal action to remove the auction.  While it was removed once, the stair is back up for auction.  Check out the story here, and go make your bid on the auction here.  (It’s up over $7,200 at the time of publishing…no doubt inflated due to the press it’s received.)
